THE GENERAL PROSECUTOR'S PROTEST? SO WHAT?

15/07/2013 03:06

According to the General Prosecutor's Office, the Ministry of Environment of the Slovak Republic made a mistake in decision making about prolonging the licence for the exploration area...

From the general prosecutor's protest: "... I propose to cancel the decision challenged by the protest and replace it with another that will be consistent with the law. If you do not intend to comply with this protest, it is your obligation as a central government department in 30 days after the delivery of the protest to bring it forward together with all the related written materials to decision of your supervisor, i.e. the minister of environment of the Slovak Republic who shall decide in the matter based on results of a special committee created by him..."

The 30-days period is now over. What do you think, how has the minister P. Žiga succeeded in a test of sincerity of his proclamations against uranium mining?
